- Amendment 00001 Issued 1 Sep 21: The purpose of this amendment is to: 1. Provide answers to questions proposed by contractors 2. Add Attachment 6 21B0007 Supply Roof Questions and Answers 3. Update the period of performance from 270 Calendar days to 330 Calendar days after NTP. 4. All other terms and conditions remain the same. Project Title: RPR Base Supply Roof, B402 The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 U.S. Dollars. This is furnished for the convenience of prospective contractors. The actual extent of work requirements will be governed by the specifications and drawings. A pre-proposal conference/site visit will be held 25 August 2021, 10:00 hours local time, in the Contracting Conference room, Building 106 Moron AB, Spain. Please contact the POC's listed in Section L to coordinate attendance of the site visit. All questions regarding this requirement must be submitted to christopher.meyer.31@us.af.mil no later than 1 September 2021, 10:00 hours local time. Bids must be received by the Contracting Officer (as described in Sec L) no later than 10:00 hours local time on 9 September 2021. All bids must be submitted electronically and/or hand delivered. Bids submitted by the facsimile will NOT be accepted. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AGREEMENT OF DEFENSE COOPERATION BETWEEN THE U.S.A. AND THE KINGDOM OF SPAIN, ANNEX 6, ARTICLE 1(5) ""SPANISH MATERIAL, LABOR, AND EQUIPMENT SHALL BE USED WHENEVER FEASIBLE AND CONSISTENT WITH THE REQUIREMENTS"" CLIN 0001:�BASIC PACKAGE: Replace the Building 402 roof of the main storage hangar IAW Specifications date 9 July 2021 and drawings dated 9 July 2021 CLIN 0002:�ADDITIVE ITEM 1: Replace the Building 402 roof of the office space IAW Specifications date 9 July 2021 and drawings dated 9 July 2021. CLIN 0003:�ADDITIVE ITEM 2: Installation of a sunshade awning over the east loading dock; Building 402 IAW Specifications dated 9 July 2021 and drawings dated 9 July 2021. The work includes, but is not limited to: Below are arranged the Base Bid and also 2 additional items that compose the complete design. Basic Bid: Replace the roof of the storage hangars. This work shall be carried out in three phase as indicated in the drawings. Demolition and disassembly works. Install protective net below the level of the work. Provide protection to the installation and elements as light fixtures, fire detectors, communication antennas and repeaters, and any other device fixed to the roof and its structure. Install a scaffolding platform to protect the unload operations way during the affected phases of the work. Remove roof panels, inoperative elements on roof, flashings, gutters and downspouts. Select, treat, load and transport waste from demolition to an authorized dump or recycle plant Archetectural Works Repair existing purling by eliminating the rusting; passivate material application, and/or replacement of those purlins unserviceable for structural actions. Eliminate rusting from frame beams and apply passivate material. Install profile extension for fall arresting system anchorage. Prepare surface, prime and paint roof frame and purlins. Install stainless steel gutters. Install roof panels and translucent panels. Install dynamic exhausters. Install flashings. Install fall arresting system. Install downspout and connect to the gutters. Repair and/or provide splashes. Remove nets, platforms and element protections. Treat and transport to dump waste material from new roof installation. Additive �tem 1: Replace roof from office area. Demolition and disassembly works. Move office furniture and return to its original position as needed. Provide protection to the installation and elements as light fixtures, fire detectors, communication antennas and repeaters, and any other device fixed to the roof and its structure or to the suspended ceiling. Remove roof panels, inoperative elements on roof, flashings, gutters and downspouts. .Select, treat, load and transport waste from demolition to an authorized dump or recycle plant. Architectural works. Repair existing purling by eliminating the rusting; passivate material application, and/or replacement of those purlins unserviceable for structural actions. Eliminate rusting from frame beams and apply passivate material. Prepare surface, prime and paint roof frame and purlins. Install stainless steel gutters. Install roof panels. Install lateral ventilation grilles. Install flashings. Install fall arresting system. Install downspout and connect to the gutter. Repair and/or provide splashes. Remove element protections. Treat and transport to dump waste material from new roof installation. Additive �tem 2: Install motorized retractable awning over East load dock. Architectural works. Install anchorage plate for exterior awning profile. Install rolling awning type cassette. Electrical Works. Install connection box and conduit for motorization and awning sensors. Install temperature, wind, precipitation and brightness sensors. Install interior awning control panel. Connect the motorization system and control panel to the electric circuit at sectional door connection box. Provide remote control for awning motorization. Perform testing operation of motorization and sensors program. Provide instruction and operation manual. Delivery of As-Built drawings. Delivery of spatial data. . The certification requirements are as follows: CERTIFICATION OF CLASSIFICATION: Bidders and/or their subcontractors must hold an updated Certificate of Classification issued by the ""Registro Oficial de Licitadores y Empresas Clasificadas del Estado"", covering the following groups, subgroups, and categories.
