THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY.� THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, NOR REQUEST FOR QUOTATION.� NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION.� PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The Regional Contracting Office � Twentynine Palms (RCO-29 Palms) aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) is seeking qualified sources for information and planning purposes only.� It is not to be construed as commitment by the government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract.� The purpose of this request for information is to gain knowledge of commercially available services that may be of interest to the RCO-29 Palms.� Responses are voluntary and the Government will not reimbursement respondents for any expenses associated with their participation to this request, nor any subsequent exchanges.� RCO-29 Palms is performing market research to determine available sources and additional information that can provide: The supply of two (2) high volume color production printers with two (2) external controllers, and one (1) light production multifunction printer (MFP) to allow for the copying, scanning, and printing without an external controller for Communication Strategy and Operations (COMMSTRAT), Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Center (MAGTFTC)/MCAGCC, Twentynine Palms, CA.� Please note: the two (2) external controllers MUST be able to operate from a single kiosk workstation.�� The Contractor shall provide copiers with full maintenance/service coverage and supplies (excluding paper) including but not limited to toner and staples for a period of performance of one (1) twelve month base period and four (4) twelve month option periods.� Contractor shall be certified by the manufacturer for both the sale and maintenance/service of the equipment.� Maintenance/services must be available eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week excluding federal holidays. In the event a machine is removed from the user�s location for repair, a similar machine of equal quality and capability will be supplied within two (2) working days. Attachment 1 High Volume Color Production Printer (Qty. 2) Requirements: Must have a print speed of 115 pages per minute or greater (letter size) for all media weights to allow for a minimal combined production level output of 230 ppm. Must have a published recommended monthly volume of 1,000,000 images or greater, and a published duty cycle of 1,750,000 images or greater per month. Must have the ability to run media up to 450 grams per square meter (gsm) auto-duplex, including but not limited to uncoated paper, coated paper (gloss & matte), recycled paper, preprinted, letterhead, pre-punched, tab stock, textured paper, label stock, carbonless and synthetic media. Must have the ability to print auto-duplex for sizes up to 13 x 40.5 inches, and simplex for sizes up to 13 x 49.5 inches. Must have a paper capacity of 8,800 sheets or more from a minimum of four (4) sources; all paper drawers must be vacuum feed. Must include inline sensors for auto-calibration, inline sensors for real-time registration adjustments and external spectrophotometer for media profiling. Must have a print resolution of 2,400 x 4,800 dots per inch (dpi) or greater. Must have the ability to manage media and paper library from a PC for easy management and to ensure both printers will have identical paper libraries. Must have inline punching at full rated machine speed with replaceable dies, to include color-coil punch with printer, and the ability to punch tab sheets and double-punch oversized sheets for offline cutting. Must have a finisher with a 100-sheet multi position stapling, 2/3-hole punch, and a capacity of 3,000 sheets or greater. Must have an inline booklet maker with a 50-sheet (200-page booklet) capacity, square-edge finishing, and 3-side full bleed trim capability without using tape, glue or additional finishing beyond staples. The system must have customer-replaceable service units, to include but not limited to rollers, belts, drums, fuser, etc. The system must have power requirements of no more than 208-240V, 30A, Single Phase. The system must be Energy Star rated and have epeat Silver or better rating. The external controllers must have at least 32GB of RAM, 4TB HDD, and Windows 10 operating system.� The controller must be accessible from the Production Machine control panel. Impose, Compose, and Graphic Arts Package, Premium Edition must be included and licensed for the life of the machine. One (1) kiosk monitor, mouse and keyboard must be included.� Light Color Production MFP (Qty. 1) Requirements: Must have a print speed of 65 pages per minute (letter size) or greater. Must have a published recommended monthly volume of 150,000 images or greater, and a published duty cycle of 450,000 images or greater per month. Must have the ability to run media up to 350 gsm, including but not limited to uncoated paper, coated paper (gloss & matte), recycled paper, preprinted, letterhead, pre-punched, tab stock, textured paper, label stock, carbonless and synthetic media. Must have the ability to print auto-duplex for sizes up to 13x 18 inches. Must have a paper capacity of 3,800 sheets or more from a minimum of four (4) sources and must include a bypass tray with a 250-sheet capacity. Must have a print resolution of a least 2,400 x 4,800 dpi. Must have a finisher with 65-sheet multi position stapling, 2/3 hole punch, and a capacity of 2,000 sheets or more. Must have an inline booklet marker with a 20-sheet (80-page booklet) capacity. Must have Genuine Adobe Postscript 3 capability. Must be able to scan utilizing OCR to allow for searchable text on scanned documents to assist in creating digital documents with customer�s current printed documents. The system must have power requirements of no more than 208-240V, 20A, Single Phase. The system must be Energy Star rated and have epeat Gold rating.
