Description

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the Department of Army, Army Contracting Command � Redstone intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Teletronics Technology Corp. dba Curtiss-Wright located in Newtown, PA to purchase data acquisition cards (quantity 11) and bus monitors (quantity 5).� The equipment is required based on their ability to integrate with existing network data acquisition and encoding units to be installed on test aircraft for the T55 engine flight tests program. This purchase will be made pursuant to the authority: 10 United States Code 2304(c)(1) as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1(c)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� No known potential alternate sources exist that can satisfy the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quote/proposal. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334511 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The product service code is 1680. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
