- Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 1, is issuing this Notice of Intent to Sole Source in order to identify any potential sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide NIM Vital System with Wireless HDMI as described below and will not interrupt the continuum of care . This requirement is defined by an existing unit currently in use at the West Haven VAMC. ALL RESPONSES TO THIS INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE ARE DUE 9/10/2021 4:00 PM EST. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any responsible sources that wish to identify their interest and capability to provide this equipment or equipment that is compatible must notify this Contracting Officer at Deborah.reardon@va.gov NLT 4:00PM EST, Friday, September 10, 2021. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations. VA Connecticut Healthcare System NIM VITAL SYSTEM W/WIRELESS HDMI Statement of Work 2021 Objective This document highlights the technical specifications and services being requested by the Connecticut VAMC for consideration towards the purchase for the NIM VITAL SYSTEM W/WIRELESS HDMI. Vendors under this proposal shall provide all equipment, accessories, applicable training, and manuals. Project Management / Equipment Implementation Product delivery will be the responsibility of the Vendors working with the Connecticut VAMC project management POC, the Vendor will be responsible for coordinating and performing the delivery, implementation, and training for the devices. Background/Justifications: Limitations are imposed by the Operating room to replace the NIMS Vital System. The current system is end of life. The Medtronic s NIM TM is a Nerve Monitoring Systems that help surgeons locate and identify the nerve, monitor, and control manipulation effects on the nerve, confirms nerve integrity prior to completing the surgery and is vital to them during head and neck procedures. Vendor will be required to provide two user manuals for the NIMS Vital System 2. Vendor will be required to provide two service manuals 3. Vendor will be required to provide an on-station in-service on the proper use and setup of the NIMS Vital System. 4. Vendor will be required to provide the cleaning methods/guidelines for NIMS Vital System and other accessories. 5. All employees who will be utilizing NIMS Vital System., including Physicians/Surgeons/Nursing Staff, OR, Technicians, Bio-Clinical Engineering, and Clinic staff members (""Trainees""), must be trained by an authorized representative from Medtronic s prior to using the System. 6. No charge on a mutually agreeable date and time.
