Description
Update 09/02/2021: The purpose of this update is to incorporate Amendment 0001�into the RFQ. Amendment 0001 provides quote submission instructions to offerors. The U.S. Forest Service plans to solicit quotes for a single award, Firm-Fixed Price contract type with an estimated magnitude for the base and options between $25,000 and $100,000. The Government anticipates to award sole contract for installation of a new well. Prospective offerors are required to submit quotes in accordance with the forthcoming solicitation. Scope of Work: This project consists of the construction of a new non-potable stock water well, installation of approximately 1,600 lineal feet of two (2) inch HDPE plastic main waterline pipe and appurtances, installation of two (2) � 2 inch diameter PVC supply waterlines and appurtances, and the installation of five (5) used rubber tire casing stock water tanks with appurtances. Other work includes the construction of guard posts. All work associated with the new well construction shall comply with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) 178 NAC 10 and 12 regulations for this type of work. The non-potable well casing shall be five (5) inches in diameter and estimated to be 350 feet deep. The Contractor shall be responsible for design of the solar pump size to meet the 5 gallons per minute requirement. Location(s): � This project is located at Pine Ridge Ranger District on the Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands, and is located approximately 21 miles southwest of Chadron, NE. The area is located in the W1/2 SW � of Section 21, T31N, R50W, Dawes County, NE. The site can be reached by using FSR 767 off East Ash Road. The new well, new waterline and new used rubber tire casing stock tanks shall be located by the Government.
