Description

This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Federal�Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items�per FAR 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes�the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.� Solicitation number N6230621Q0051, as referenced above, is assigned to this procurement for tracking purposes�only and is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect�through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06 effective 12 July 2021 and DFARS Change Publication Notice�20210709. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be�accessed in full text at these addresses: https://www.acquisition.gov/far/ http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfarspgi/current/index.html This requirement is being solicited as unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be�considered by the agency. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 334511 � Search,�Detection, Navigation,� Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The small�business size standard is 1,250 employees. The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO), Stennis Space Center, Mississippi has a requirement to procure�up to twenty-seven (27) Model LMC-16 Data Acquisition (DAQ) Recorders, up to nineteen (19) XBT Test�Canisters, and up to twenty-seven (27) BT-SV-CTD Test Devices. The Lockheed Martin Sippican (LMS), Model�LMC-16 DAQ Recorder, XBT Test Canister, and BT-SV-CTD Test Device are sub-systems of the LMS Expendable�Probe Launcher System, which is also a sub-system of the Physical Oceanography (PHYSO) System.�The Government may cancel this solicitation at any time prior to award. Submittals in response to this RFQ are due no later than 12:00 PM Central Time on 10 September 2021.� FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors � Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
