Description

The purpose of this Amendment is to correct clin 0001, and add clin 0003. Solicitation Information All quotes/responses shall be submitted via email to Maria Sproul at maria.a.sproul.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 5:00PM EDT 24 August 2021. Solicitation N0042120Q0602 is issued as intent to sole source. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Iris Technology Corporation, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 13.106-1(b). � Iris Technology Corporation is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the requested modified COTS power manager battery charger and cable. �Only the requested Iris modified COTS power manager battery charger and cable are known to meet the requirements for RIS.� Offeror�s must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov. Vendors must be authorized distributor. Must submit documentation that you are authorized distributor with response. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all quotes received by 5:00PM EDT 24 August 2021. A determination by the Government not compete this propsed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
