Description

The National Park Service (NPS) is amending the solicitation for applications to provide Guided Day Hiking, Guided Fishing Instruction, Guided Backpacking, Guided Photography Instruction (workshop), Guided Mountaineering, Guided Backcountry Ski Mountaineering, Guided Nordic Activities (Snowshoeing/Skiing), Guided Portering (Dunnage/Gear Transport), and Guided Pack and Saddle (Stock), visitor services through the issuance of Commercial Use Authorizations (CUA) within wilderness throughout Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. A limited number of CUAs will be authorized for a two-year period, January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023.� Amendment No. 1 extends the solicitation through October 15, 2021. The CUA application package is available on the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks website at https://www.nps.gov/seki/getinvolved/dobusinesswithus.htm. Complete applications for a CUA to operate in wilderness within Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) on October 15, 2021. Application submissions will be accepted by emailing seki_cua@nps.gov or U.S. mail addressed to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, Commercial Services Office, 47050 Generals Highway, Three Rivers, CA 93271.
