Description

In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis to All Weather, Inc. (AWI). The FAA has a requirement to purchase AWI hardware for sustainment of the IDSR/NIDS program. The AWI hardware is required to ensure the time is synched with the network and rest of the interfaces in the NIDS. The hardware is proprietary to AWI and is custom built to fit the FAA�s NIDS requirements. AWI is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the required hardware components. AWI is the only vendor who can provide the required furniture. This announcement is for informational purposes only. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparing of a response to this announcement.
