- Description
- The United States Government intends to award a succeeding lease to NBP132, LLC using other than full and open competition for the Transportation Security Administration for an existing lease expiring on 10/31/2021 at Annapolis Junction, MD. This justification applies to TSA continuing need requirements for secure data center, equipment development, testing, support and administrative work space. The space must be provided near the Baltimore (BWI) airport in coordination and support of domestic airport security screening functions and screening equipment. The Government requires secure data center, office and related space yielding a minimum of 75,176 ANSI/BOMA office area, with 330 dedicated parking spaces. The space must be located within 10 mile driving radius of BWI Airport. The building should have a loading dock and freight elevator for deliveries. The lease shall include all services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations must be included as part of the rental consideration. Due to mission critical duties, the space must be accessible by major arterial roads and/ or public transportation systems to BWI Airport. Additional requirements are to have sufficient parking for visitors, and the ability to house a 24-hour operation within the space. The Government may consider alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise the Government intends to pursue a sole source acquisition.� All offers should be aware that the Government will consider the cost of moving, all security functions and features, and alterations, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. TSA will not reimburse for any costs incurred by interested parties in providing a notification of interest and/or capability statement in response to this posting. To submit a location for inspection, contact this office by 12:00PM EST Monday, October 4th, 2021. (Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space.) WRITTEN EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Building name and Address, Rentable and Usable Square Footage, Fully Services Rental rate and Common Area Factor, available parking, and Building Floor Plans.
