- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 06, located at W. G. Hefner Medical Center, 1601 Brenner Ave. Salisbury, NC 28144 requires a contract for the repair, maintenance, and upgrade of underground storage tanks in buildings 42,21, and 32. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with (IAW) FAR part 13. THIS IS A 100% TOTAL SERVIE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET A SIDE! Description of Requirement: The Contractor will provide all transportation, materials, hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise for the UST repair and upgrade project for Building 42 (Tank 14-42),Building 21 (Tank 9-21) and Building 32. Will require environmental consultants with specialized underground storage tanks system experience and knowledge. Contractor will be properly credentialed to install, repair and program specialized tank monitoring systems, double walled fiberglass piping, valves, and wiring. Also, contractor must be located within a 250 miles radius from the place of performance (Salisbury NC VAMC). Repairs conducted under the scope of the contract must result in passing tests for all currently enforceable NCDEQ regulations. Coordination of sump and line testing shall be included under the contract in addition to the cost associated with third party testing. Engineering Service, Safety Section will serve as the focal point. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM), prospective contractors must be registered in SAM to be eligible for award. SAM registration is required under the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website as a contract cannot be awarded to any offeror not registered in SAM. Any quotes MUST include ALL work to provide a complete and finished product. When work is completed with this project, it is expected the Government will be able to take full benefit of the finished product without additional work required: PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: W. G.
