The purpose of this announcement is to announce the FAA�s intent to pursue a single source acquisition strategy for the subject requirement. At this time, PureTech, Inc. is the only known source that can directly perform the requirements for PureActiv Software Support Services for multiple US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Surveillance Systems set forth by the attached Statement of Work (SOW).��� The responses to this announcement will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with submissions to this announcement is solely at the interested vendor�s expense. The FAA has assumes that a contract awarded to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the PureActiv Software to be in the FAA�s best interests based on the following assumptions: 1. The FAA assumes that only the OEM of PureActiv software is capable of directly providing all items in the attached Schedule B Product List. 2. The FAA assumes that only the OEM of PureActiv software is capable of directly performing software updates. � 3. The FAA assumes that only the OEM of PureActiv software is capable of directly performing software upgrades. 4. The FAA assumes that only the OEM of PureActiv software is capable of directly performing software maintenance. 5. The FAA assumes that only the OEM of PureActiv software is capable of directly providing software support to include, but not limited to, troubleshooting, software patches to fix security vulnerabilities, fix software defects, etc. 6. The FAA assumes that only the OEM of PureActiv software is capable of directly performing engineering services required for development and/or integration of the PureActiv software into new or future CBP surveillance systems. 7. The FAA assumes that attempting to purchase all PureActiv software support services and products through a third party distributor will result in the work being 100% subcontracted to the OEM, thus resulting in significant undue additional cost to the FAA. All responses to this market survey must be received by 4:00 p.m. Central Time (Oklahoma Time) on September 10th, 2021.
