- (U)�The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to award a sole source contract to The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Incorporated (IEEE) (CAGE: 97566) located at 445 Hoes Lane, Piscataway, NJ 08854, for the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) Access Library subscription service.� (U) The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Research Directorates Motion Imagery program has a requirement to have access to the SMPTE Digital Library. The SMPTE Digital Library purchased through IEEE Xplore will provide NGA/Research Motion Imagery Standards Board (MISB) team access to SMPTE motion imagery standards, which are commercial standards that the MISB leverages in the development of standards for the NSG community.� (U) This action will result in a Firm Fixed type Purchase Order with a 12-month base period and two (2) 12-month Option Periods. (U)This is a special notice prepared in accordance Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. A solicitation will not be posted. However, any interested parties that believes it can meet the requirement, may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the Government.� (U) Please send written submissions no later than 1600 EST on September 08, 2021 to Viphalac.C.Dickover@nga.mil (UNCLASS). Supporting information must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
