Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE.� The Department of the Army, Army Contracting Command - Redstone (ACC-RSA) intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of Joint Range Extension� hardware support renewal. This contract will be a firm fixed price contract.� ACC-RSA intends to award this FFPP contract to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) CAGE 6xWA8�(1455 Frazee Road, Suite 1000, San Diego, CA 92108) under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR 6.302 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate� has a requirement for a purchase order on a firm fixed-price basis for the renewal of hardware support of Joint Range Extension (JRE) equipment�as follows: Telephonic support for troubleshooting maintenance issues and operational failures of JRE equipment. The product description is attached.� This Notice of Intent is NOT a Request for Proposal. No Statement of Work will be provided. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interests of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.� All information submitted should support the offer's�capability to proivde items required and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. ACC-RSA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.�Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice See attachment for purchase description.
