- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) intends to issue and award a sole source firm fixed price single award type contract to Omnicell, Inc. located at 1201 Charleston Road, Mountain View, CA 94043-1337, for providing the Tulsa Health Care Center, Veterans Administration Medical Center for the Tulsa Health Care Center Endoscopy Department with the purchase of computer monitored supply storage cell cabinets. Omnicell infrastructure such as servers and connectivity to VISTA are already in place on site at Jack C. Montgomery VAMC. Omnicell is also approved through TRM as FIPS 140-2 compliant through IT and Biomed making it able for use throughout VA. Omnicell is the sole provider of accessories that are compatible and interface with our existing infrastructure of servers. The Eastern Oklahoma Veterans Health Care System currently uses Omnicell Point-of-Care Systems in their other facilities and is looking for additional computer monitored supply storage for different areas throughout the THCC. All cabinets will need to be connected to the VA network for connection to a server that will be used to manage the cabinets and monitor access. The Point-of-Care system is the only current system that integrates with the VA s VISTA ordering system and servers. This equipment is used for the following: storage systems and the information technology hardware and software to connect these systems; provide inventory, control, and management of supplies and enable centralized supply management of these items. This is a brand name action due to the specified scope must be compatible with the current system. It has been determined that Omnicell Inc. is the one responsible source who can provide this requirement in the Tulsa, OK area in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES/PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICIATION IS AVAILABLE. Telephone request will not be honored. No award will be made based on quotes or offers received in response to this notice. All responsible sources may identify their interest to meet this requirement to ladonna.collins@va.gov by 1:00 P.M. Mountain Time, Monday , September 13, 2021. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. Interested parties may submit information for consideration by the government to: ladonna.collins@va.gov SCOPE OF WORK AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR computer monitored supply storage for different areas throughout the THCC to work with and alongside our current supply cabinets. All cabinets will need to be connected to the VA network for connection to a server that will be used to manage the cabinets and monitor access.
