Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. Past performance will be considered in the selection of the awarded vendor. 1.������������ Background.� This requirement is for the immediate inspection and repair of the Electric Submersible Pump. The components are required to be overhauled as part of an emergency repair/overhaul. 2.������������ Scope. The scope of this work is on the parts listed above. It consists of returning the components to normal operation. Contractor shall coordinate shipment of parts, repairs and return the components to the unit within four weeks of receipt. The Contractor shall provide the services of a certified Technical Representative, who is authorized to provide services for the applicable pump, to accomplish all tasking.� The Tech Rep will be responsible for the following: ��������������� Accessing OEM proprietary information, software, and tools pertinent to tasking in accordance with the specification. ��������������� Assisting with proper repair methods, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer's procedures and standards during disassembly, inspection, repair, modification, calibration, and reassembly of the equipment/system. ��������������� Providing genuine, OEM-approved parts 3.������������ Tasks. Submit a CFR for any repairs that are not covered under the statement of work. 4.������������ Delivery.� Contractor shall provide final report including post-repair measurements on the components to the government within 3 days of work completion. 4.1 The report shall include all work accomplished, results of inspections and assessments based on the tasking. 4.2 All readings and measurements (clearances, tolerances, etc.) recorded and used in support of OEM-reusability determinations. 5.������������ Government furnished property.� There is no Government furnished property (GFP). 6.������������ Period of performance- Four weeks of work once parts have been received.
