Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation - Acquisition Division intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for the Driveway Paving project for the Big Flats Plant Materials Center (PMC) in Chemung County, New York.� The Big Flats PMC has an existing entrance way that is asphalt while the rest of the driveways and parking areas are gravel and earthen.� These areas have lost their original structure over the years and need to be re-graded and re-surfaced.� The project also encompasses fine grading and resurfacing the driveway and parking areas as well as sealing and filling cracks of the asphalt entranceway. Submitted RFQs must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. This opportunity will be a Total Small Business set-aside. The full solicitation package including construction drawings, specifications, and wage rates will be posted and available from this website on or around September 23, 2021. � A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.� The anticipated period of performance for this project is 20 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is below $25,000.� The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors.� The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $16.5M.
