- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) located in Ft. Carson, Colorado intends to make a sole source award to Nexus Life Cycle Management, LLC. (DUNS: 078392980) for Logistics Functional Area Services (LOGFAS) instruction and classes that will enable future advisor logistics advising efforts for deployments. This will be awarded as firm-fixed price (FFP) contract with a Period of Performance (POP) of 9/27/2021 - 10/7/2021.This award will be in made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 One and Only Responsible Source. The contractor, Nexus Life Cycle Management, LLC., is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required service to ensure that NATO practices and 4SFAB�s Sustainment Training Objectives are meet to support the partner forces. The Description of Services or Supplies is as follows; 4SFAB requires the Nexus LCM training team to provide Logistics Functional Area Services (LOGFAS) instruction and classes that will enhance and enable future advisor logistics advising efforts for deployments. LOGFAS is a corresponding network to the information environment and a sufficient tool for improving logistical efficiency in today�s operating environment, characterized by frequent changes and the need for comprehensive multi-national security support in hostile environments that provide minimal local resources. Currently, Nexus LCM, LLC is the only provider for this training within our timeframe and specific requirements. Instructors provided by Nexus LCM, LLC are fully and uniquely qualified in the specialist areas required for each type of course. Additionally, all the company�s instructors hold a NATO Technical Instructor Qualification and National Secret Security Clearance. This training will enable our advisors to better serve our partner forces while conducting future operations and training events during upcoming deployments. Without the payment of this specific training, the 4SFAB�s mission will incur substantial hardship. This training will provide capabilities for our unit that would bring considerable advantage to our advisor teams during training events and deployments to the European theater This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 01:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MDT) by Monday, September 13, 2021, the contract will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Responses should be received by the deadline stated above. All vendors are hereby notified that if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered.
