Description
187th Fighter Wing Industry Day and Intent for Bailment Agreement for Display of Agile Capabilities Overview of Event: Deployable Self-Generating Water System and Portable Secure Facility System Industry Day Capabilities Display Audience: Members of the Air National Guard and Industry representatives When: 02 05 November 2021, 0900-1600L Where: Gulfport Combat Readiness Training Center - 4715 Hewes Ave Gulfport Mississippi, 39507. Capabilities Sought: 1. Deployable Self-Generating Water Systems The 187th Fighter Wing is looking for an Atmospheric Self-Generating Water System that is rapidly deployable, requires limited resources to setup and take down, and has a smaller cargo footprint. The end product must be potable, drinkable, safe, water with a minimum output of 60 gallons a day; however, multi system approaches and alternative ideas are welcome to meet this requirement. 2. Rapidly Deployable/Portable Secure Facility The 187th Fighter Wing is looking for a Rapidly Deployable/Portable Secure Facility Capability, preferably to be able to be setup without power or heavy equipment. In addition we are seeking compact, man portable & durable structures. The end product should be easy to use, quick to train on, and be simple to set up. Overview: The 187th Fighter Wing is looking to embrace the Agile Combat Environment (ACE) concept and become a readily movable and deployable entity. This Deployable Self Generating Water System and Deployable Secure Facility effort will be setting the standard for the DoD's entry into these deployable capability. Each vendor will be able to present their systems capabilities throughout the exercise. These products will be tested in scenarios during the exercise to determine if the systems currently meet our needs or need modification. Each vendor will have a dedicated 30 minute window to discuss capabilities of their product/technology at the beginning of the exercise. This window will consist of a 15 minute presentation, demonstration of technology, capability brief and 15 minutes allotted for Q&A discussion between contractor and DoD personnel. Who should attend? Vendors who sell, produce, research, design the desired products. Due to the sheer volume of vendors and subsequent products that fall under the self-generating water systems and portable structure realm, upon registration vendors will be placed into a presentation time slot until all slots for the event have been filled. Representatives should be technically savvy and have a firm understanding of the direction of both Industry and DoD policy. Industry Day Goals: To ensure synergy between DoD and Industry representatives Incorporate Industry comments into the Requirement development process Embrace interoperability and open standards Communicate Capabilities Gain a better understanding of recent Industry developments Provide updates to Industry on future DoD developments and acquisitions Agenda (fluid based on exercise progress) 2 Nov: Exercise begins approx 1200L Setup and preparation of equipment 3-4 Nov: Ongoing Exercise Pending the number of vendors, times throughout the days will be allocation for the presentation of capabilities. 5 Nov: Commander departing comments Pack up equipment and depart 6 Nov: Additional pack-up time Points of Contact: SSgt Adam Thibeault 187 FW Contracting Officer (334) 394-7895 Adam.thibeault@us.af.mil Mr. Stephen Shanks 187 FW Base Contracting Officer (334) 394-7529 Stephen.Shanks.1@us.af.mil Lt Col Brandon Baughman 187th FW ACE Lead (334) 394-7170 brandon.baughman.2@us.af.mil
