****************************************************************************** AMENDMENT 0003 - THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN CANCELED IN ITS ENTIRETY ******************************************************************************* This is AMENDMENT 0002 - The purpose of this amendment is to: 1. Provide responses to the questions received during the Request for Information (RFI) period. 2. Provide updated Wage Determination no. MD20210038. 3. Provide Site Visit Sign-In Sheet. 4. Provide revised planting plans. 5. Provide 2021-08-19 Deal Island QA-QC Bathymetry Attached is the list of Wicomico River Projects Site Visit Attendees ***** This procurement is 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside ***** The scope requires placing hay bales around approximately 130 acres of degraded wetland for containment of�dredged material. In some areas hay bales may need to be stacked and secured two or three high to provide proper�containment of dredged material. After dredged material placement, vegetation will be planted to restore the wetland�for migratory bird nesting habitat. Planting of vegetation will occur over the two growing seasons post dredged�material placement. Vegetation will be Spartina patens and Distichlis spicata placed 4 feet on center. Panicum�virgatum will be installed 2 feet on center at the edge of the hay bales for stabilization. During the first growing�season vegetation may require aerial or hydro seeding, based on consolidation of the dredged material.
