- THIS SOLICITATION IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR SUBPART 19.5. ONLY QUALIFIED VENDORS MAY SUBMIT QUOTES. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is being conducted pursuant to the authority of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; therefore, a written solicitation will not be issued. ************************************************************************************* The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Great Plains Regional Office intends to award a firm-fixed price commercial item purchase order in response to this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Rifle & Shotgun Ammunition for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Justice Services, District I Office in Aberdeen, SD. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions & clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2021-06. Unison Marketplace has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A vendor may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. All responsible vendors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.UnisonMarketplace.com.
