Description

BEP DCF JOHNSON CONTROLS ANNUAL MAINTENANCE SERVICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT� The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Johnson Controls,� located at 1101 Hampton Park Blvd, Building C, Suite 100, Capitol Heights, MD 20743. The contract will be for the maintenance of Johnson Controls proprietary equipment for HVAC and other equipment controls. This service will be provided at BEP District Currency Facility (DCF) located at 14th and C Streets SW, Washington, DC 20228.� The estimated period of performance is for a twelve month base year and four twelve month option years.�� The anticipated award date is after 12 November 2021. Johnson Controls is identified as the sole source for maintaining their proprietary systems located at the BEP DCF. They are the only source identified to provide this service for the BEP DCF. Firms believing they can provide maintenance services for Johnson Controls systems and equipment are asked to provide written notification within 9 days of the posting date of this notice to the Contracting Officer with supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes or a solicitation of offers. All responses received within the due date of the special notice will be considered for future requirements for the Government. The due date and time for responses is Tuesday,�21 September 2021 at 1:00PM ET. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement on future requirements. Responses shall be emailed to the Government point of contact below. Responses should include the firm's Dun and Bradstreet number and Tax Identification Number. Firms should identify business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS Code 811219 which is $20.5 Million. This notice may represent the only official notice of this requirement.
