- Murrell Park Front Entrance , Road Repairs and Repaving (All work shall be completed IAW the Statement Of Work,) and Appendix) Please see the attached Invitation For Bid W9126G21B0027 Contractor shall remove approximately two (2)- four (4) inches of existing asphalt on approximately 431 LF of Park road. Average width of the road is approximately 25 LF. Remove existing base course add 8"" of new flex base compact and graded. After proper road and curb preparation contractor will install 4� of hot mix asphalt. (See Appendix 1.4.1.1) The turnaround at the entrance to the park the contractor shall remove approximately two (2) � four (4) inches of existing asphalt on approximately 750 LF of park road. The average width of the road is approximately 15ft. remove the existing base course approximately 6� deep, add 8� of new flex base compacted and graded. Contractor shall come back with 4� of hot mix asphalt on 661 LF of compacted flex base at a road width of 14 LF. Contractor shall replace the back side of the turn around with 8� of reinforced concrete pavement at approximately 90 LF by 18 LF. the finished road shall transition smoothly to adjacent roads.
