Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: 70Z0G121QPRV23600 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect thru Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-06. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326150, and the small business size standard is 750 employees. This is a small business set-aside.� The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement to procure: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001:� Ocean Guard� Netless foam filled pier fenders (standard capacity), 6ft diameter x 12ft long. QTY: �four (4) each.� The USCG intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Order/Contract. Contractors will use https://SAM.gov to electronically submit annual Representations and Certifications (Reps & Certs). Contractors will no longer be required to submit hard copies of their Reps & Certs with each proposal. For contractors to be able to upload their Reps & Certs to SAM.gov, they must have an active account record and a Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN). Offerors responding to this announcement must include their Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number. If contractors have already uploaded their annual Reps & Certs, please submit a statement with your quotation certifying that the Reps & Certs in https://SAM.gov are accurate for this solicitation, or provide the information required in FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (b) thru (j). The following Homeland Security Acquisition Regulations (HSAR) are incorporated as addenda to this solicitation: HSAR 3052.209-70 Prohibition on Contracts with Corporate Expatriates; 3052.212.70 Contract Terms and Conditions Applicable to DHS Acquisition of Commercial Items: 3052.247-72, F.o.B. Destination Only; �3052.242-72 Contracting Officer�s Representative Copies of HSAR clauses may be obtained electronically at http://www.dhs.gov. The Contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar sale, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the government. The government will award an order to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and will be most advantageous to the government in terms of price.� All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by the agency, and evaluated based on best value to the government considering price. All written quotations must be submitted and received at this office on or before 15 September 2021, at 2:00 PM EST. Quotations may NOT be sent via fax.
