Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS The Federal Maritime Commission hereby issues this Notice of Intent to Award a contract to Descartes, Datamyne located at�2030 Powers Ferry Road SE, Suite 350,�Atlanta, GA 30339-5066, on a sole source basis utilizing FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy the agency requirement for Web based import and export trade data search subscription services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; a solicitation document will not be issued.� Information received within five days of this notice to meet the requirement will be considered by the FMC.� A determination not to compete this proposed contract actions is solely within�the discretion of the FMC.��Information received will be considered primarily for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
