- Description
- This�requirement is�for contracted instructor/preparatory�services for the 189th Airlift Wing. The contractor will offer a 120-hour training program in Aircraft Technician O&P (Oral and Practical) Prep Course. The instruction�should be planned for 24 hours of General knowledge, 52 hours of Airframe knowledge and 44 hours of power plant knowledge. This service�will prepare students to take the FAA's Oral and Practical Exam administered by an FAA Designated Maintenance Examiner and should be designed as a refresher for people who are eligible to take the FAA exams based on other experience.� Competition for this requirement is full and open.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611691 Exam Preparation and Tutoring and the Size Standard for Small Business is $8 Million.� The initial Period of Performance (PoP) is one (1) year after date of contract award. Place of Performance: The training will take place at contractor�s location. The contractor will provide instructor(s), facilities, classrooms, laboratories, administrative support, classroom materials, and supplies. The training location will be no further than a one-hour commute from Little Rock Air Force Base. The 189AW intends to award one contract to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government. The following factor will be used to evaluate offers:� Lowest priceD offer meeting requirements.
