Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Rehabilitate and Enhance Bulkhead and Boardwalk at Assateague Island National Seashore, Berlin, MD. The work will include all construction, labor, supplies, materials, tools, equipment, facilities, and travel necessary to rehabilitate and enhance the bulkhead and boardwalk. PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. This firm-fixed price contract will be awarded using the Lowest price technically acceptable source selection process in accordance with FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. SET-ASIDE TYPE: This is a competitive small business set-aside acquisition. All responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration in accordance with these and other terms and conditions of the anticipated solicitation. NAICS CODE: 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a small business size standard of $39.5M. MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. DURATION: The contract performance period is expected to be 180 calendar days from notice to proceed. SITE VISIT: An organized site visit has been scheduled for September 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
