- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for work to include Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the following unless noted below: Removal and disposal of all wallpaper and glue. Removal and disposal of all rubber baseboards. Removal and replacement of electrical face plates. Dry wall repair, patching and sanding of walls prior to application of finishing coats. Protection of surfaces and objects not being painted with tape, paper, poly and drop sheets, as necessary. Scraping, sanding and filling, as applicable, of any peeling areas to provide a suitable surface for painting. Prepare and patch all holes as applicable. Broom clean condition at the end of each day and full clean up at the end of the project, including removal of any garbage, proper disposal of paint and other products, sweeping and vacuuming. Leftover paint used, properly labeled, will be left for your future use unless otherwise directed. Prepare and paint all office walls and trimmings in suite 834, total includes 3 office spaces (834-1, 834-2, and 834-3) with 1 larger common area. Fit suite 834 including smaller office spaces (834-1, 834-2, and 834-3) and larger common area with new rubber base boards with a dark color, possibly navy blue to match that in other Coast Guard spaces within this building. Include all labor, materials, paint and equipment. Paint color will be a neutral, possibly off-white, satin. Supply and application of a full two coats of top quality paint products will be included with at least a 1 year limited warranty. This synopsis/solicitation is being advertised as a Small Business Set Aside only. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is 70Z028-21-Q-2F46600. � Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) codes are: 238320 Painting And Wall Covering Contractors �����������������������������������������Size standard: $14.0 This requirement is for a Firm Fixed Price contract. �The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13 and FAR part 15. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, Best Value. When submitting your proposals, request a price breakdown of the following: Cost of labor Cost of materials and equipment required per SOW Contract will be awarded to the vendor who can provide what�s required within the SOW.� Cost and Past Performance factors will also be considered when selecting the award. Wage determinations:� General Decision Number: FL FL20200222���� Price Range: NTE $14.5K X: Regulations while onboard Coast Guard Seventh District:� The construction site shall be maintained in a clean condition at all times.� This included daily clean-ups of the construction and storage areas (FAR 52.236-12).� The site shall be well lit and well barricaded/cordoned off as appropriate. The designated smoking area is behind the parking garage of the Brickell Plaza Federal Building. Absolutely no firearms or weapons of any kind are allowed at the Seventh District. Only American citizens and permanent resident aliens are allowed at the Seventh District. Notice shall be given to the Coast Guard�s representative 1 week in advance of any planned power, water, and sewage or lighting outages.� The contractor shall provide a consolidated list of all contracted personnel including their driver�s license (or other valid gov�t issued ID number) who will be working at the Seventh District Command Center everyday on site.�� Contractors are welcome to utilize the public restrooms throughout the building, providing they are clean and do not track any debris into the restroom.� No personnel other than the contracting officer has the authority to alter the terms of any contract or to issue any change orders. All contractor vehicles, equipment and gear onboard Coast Guard properties are subject to search at all times.� Additionally at all times due to security needs, the contractors are subject to orders to evacuate the property at any time.� Due to the compact & dense nature at the Seventh District, all efforts within reason to minimize the size and footprint of the contractor�s lay down area shall be taken.� Contractors shall carpool as much as possible to minimize the number of vehicles needing parking.� At a minimum, the ratio of contractors to contractor vehicles shall be no less than 2:1.
