Description
This solicitation is amended to provide answers to questions from interested vendors. The following are the Government s response to each question submitted: Vendor Question - P.2, states that Items will be installed by the VA then page 6 states that invoices are to be submitted upon acceptance and installation of all products. On page 8, installation date and price are included as part of the comparative evaluation. Please clarify if the vendor is required to provide any assembly or installation of the equipment. Government Response All inferences of contractor installation shall be disregarded, as the VA will install all equipment upon delivery. Invoices are to be submitted upon complete delivery of all items. Comparative evaluation will include technical go-no go based on conformance to salient characteristics; final delivery date for all items; and price. All aspects will be evaluated to determine the quote that is most advantageous to the Government. Vendor Question - P. 5, 0011. How many government employees will be attending the training seminar, and will they all be able to attend the same training session? Government Response - The awardee shall provide one full workday onsite live hands on - working training event of the purchased equipment at TVHS Murfreesboro. The onsite training session will teach Engineering employees (5-9 mechanics/electricians) on the purchased fuel filtering equipment set up, operation, maintenance and fuel filtering principles recommended to properly filter and polish fuel in the tanks at TVHS, USTs/ASTs/Integrated fuel tanks etc. The training will be coordinated and set up after the VA has installed all the purchased equipment into the VA provided enclosed utility trailer. Vendor Question - P. 8, 2. Does the Government have in mind a desired delivery date? Please answer the same question for installation (if applicable) and same question for the training session. Government Response The Government s desired delivery date is 30 Days ARO. See above for desired date for training. All solicitation amendments shall be acknowledged as part of quote submission.
