- Apprenticeship Academic Training in support of Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE). FRCSE requires the services of a regionally or nationally accredited educational institution that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to deliver post-secondary education programs. The apprenticeship training will culminate in the award of the Engineering Technology Support Specialist certificate for apprentices who successfully complete the program. The intent is to issue a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Single Award, IDIQ, Requirements contract and subsequent task orders under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5 and 16. Set aside: N/A This Synopsis will be posted on both Beta Sam (https://beta.sam.gov/) and NECO (https://neco.navy.mil). No solicitation is available at this time. This is only a synopsis. Anticipated release of the solicitation (solicitation # N6883621O0112) is 13 August 2021. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will NOT issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requester nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov.
