- This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the Woman Owned Small Business IDIQ Design/Build Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Construction Services for the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division Mission Boundaries only. The Woman Owned Small Business MATOC Contractors and their contract numbers are listed below: INTEC Group � W912QR20D0021 DAWN, INC � W912QR20D0022 RJ Runge � W912QR20D0023 GM Hill � W912QR20D0024 � DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) W912QR-12025205 for the construction of a Vehicle Maintenance Shop (VMS) at the Suffolk Army Reserve Center, in Suffolk, Virginia.� The project includes the construction of a new Vehicle Maintenance Shop with a plan footprint of approximately 7,800 square feet. The facility will be constructed on the existing Army Reserve property in Suffolk, Virginia. The proposed building will be supported on a shallow foundation system and include the construction of a high bay maintenance garage area, office space, and storage areas. Construction may encounter shallow groundwater during construction, soft soils, and saturated soils. In addition, contractor should be familiar with earthwork construction in tidal areas, soil modification/ stabilization, shallow foundations, masonry structures, structural steel, extension of underground utilities, and connection to existing underground utilities. Successful bidders shall be familiar with widely accepted and generally acknowledged successful practices for local construction.�� The project will contain the following options: 1) Waste Fluid Storage Tank The Contract Duration is four hundred seventy-eight (478) calendar days from Contract Notice to Proceed. TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This RFP will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract.� The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. SELECTION PROCESS: The proposals will be evaluated based on low price. CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 in accordance with FAR 36.204. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE:� A site tour will be held following the issuance of the solicitation to the Offerors.� The exact location and time will be included in the solicitation. SOLICITATION WEBSITE: The official solicitation, when posted, will be available free of charge by electronic posting only Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Telephone and Fax requests for this solicitation will not be honored. Project files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Amendments, if/when issued, will be posted to the website for electronic downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing; therefore, it is the Offerors responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the following database: System for Award Management (SAM): Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. If the Offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror.
