- Description
- The successful offeror shall manufacture the wire rope assemblies, to include all components described in the summarized specifications below and in accordance the attached drawings, specifications, and standards. All wire ropes and chains shall have an affixed permanent Identification Tag as required by ASME B30.9. This tag must include the rated load, the diameter or size, the name and trademark of the manufacturer, and the number of legs. Furthermore, additional permanent tag containing the part # and/or identification letter be attached to each item. All furnished components shall be new and not refurbished and conform in strength, quality of materials, workmanship, and sound engineering standards. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition will result in a single firm-fixed-price supply contract. This procurement is a Small Business set-aside. Competition is restricted to small business concerns. A small business subcontracting plan is not required. The NAICS code for this procurement is 332618�and the associated small business size standard is 500 Employees. The solicitation will be made available for download on the sam.gov Contract Opportunities website beginning in September. Offerers are responsible for checking the referenced page for any updates to the Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offerers inability to access the documents posted at the referenced website. The exact quotation deadline will be indicated in the solicitation. System for Award Management {SAM): Offerers must register in the SAM at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ prior to receiving an award.
