- NOTICE TYPE: Pre-Solicitation Notice SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140R3021Q0084 PROJECT NAME: E40 Demolish Welding Shop Laguna Yard NAICS: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238910 Site Preparation Contractors, which has a small business size standard of $16.5 million. PSC: P400 Salvage � Demolition of Buildings This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice with the intent of synopsizing a proposed contract action prior to issuance of the solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or about September 16, 2021, posted to the Beta.Sam.gov website. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued. All parties are responsible for checking the Beta.Sam.gov website for the most current information. All dates in this announcement are estimates and are subject to change. The solicitation, once issued, will contain instructions for submitting questions. No questions regarding this acquisition will be accepted or addressed/answered prior to the formal solicitation issuance. DESCRIPTION: The Lower Colorado Basin, Imperial Dam Laguna Yard is approximately 1.25 miles south of Imperial Dam on California Highway S24. The work for this construction contract will consist of but not be limited to demolish the abandoned welding shop, cap off water and sewer lines five feet from the edge of the building. Perform all work, including furnishing, installing, and constructing the foregoing items in accordance with the Statement of Work. SET-ASIDE: This solicitation is set-aside 100% for Small Business. PROCUREMENT TYPE: This acquisition will be pursued in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-2 and FAR 15.101, Best Value Continuum. The Government intends to award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract from this solicitation and a period of performance is anticipated to begin on or about October 01, 2021, with an anticipated completion date of December 10, 2021. Furthermore, the estimated magnitude of this construction project will range between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. REGISTRATIONS: Offerors are required to have a current registration on the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract award. Offerors may register on SAM at https://www.sam.gov/. and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The Lower Colorado Basin, Imperial Dam.
