Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE� Project Title: Identification of Leachables in E-liquid Bottles and Closed ENDS Products Announcement No: FDA-22-1246427 � The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to EAG, Inc. for Identification of Leachables in E-liquid Bottles and closed-Ends products. �The total estimated value is less than $660K. This sole source contracting action a notice pursuant to FAR 5.203(a) for the aforementioned requirement based on the application of FAR 6.302-1. �This hereby constitutes a synopsis of this requirement. This is a follow-on award under NAICS Code 541715. EAG, Inc. was the contractor who completed the initial study under contract HHSF223201820229A, and in order to maintain integrity of the experiment the same lab will need to perform this additional work. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the FDA. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. �The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
