- 561210FAC Request for Information � This is not a Request for Quote The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), is conducting market research on the GSA Schedule 561210FAC, Facilities Maintenance and Management, for facilities management, mechanical operations and maintenance services and elevator maintenance services at the following locations: ANTHONY J. CELEBREZZE FEDERAL BUILDING 1240 EAST NINTH STREET CLEVELAND, OHIO 44199 CARL B. STOKES USCH 801 W. SUPERIOR AVENUE CLEVELAND, OHIO 44113 HOWARD M. METZENBAUM USCH 201 SUPERIOR AVENUE CLEVELAND, OHIO 44114 DONALD J. PEASE FEDERAL BUILDING 143 WEST LIBERTY STREET MEDINA, OHIO 44256 The services will include providing management, administrative, supervision, labor, subcontractors, materials, supplies, equipment (except as otherwise provided) and travel necessary, and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective completion of all work and services and performance of Facilities Management and related services. In addition, all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and supplies (shipping & handling) and shall be responsible for the efficient, effective, economical, and satisfactory operation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair of equipment and systems shall be the responsible of the contractor. Finally, the Contractor shall provide full elevator maintenance service, in compliance with the�ASME Safety Code�requirements, manufacturer's recommendations,�Elevator Industry Field Employees� Safety Handbook, National Electrical Code, and all other applicable laws, regulations, rules, ordinances, codes, etc. The anticipated performance period would be one base year period with nine one-year option periods.� The solicitation will contain a Consolidated Facilities Management (CFM) work statement for performance-based services; this performance-based approach focuses on outcomes as opposed to prescriptive requirements.� The specification will represent GSA�s performance objectives and minimum levels of services to be provided by the contractor.� This performance based requirement demands a greater emphasis by the contractor on self-evaluation, robust quality control processes and strict oversight of building operations to ensure the highest level of efficiency. The Contractor will be required to maintain a quality control program to ensure that the requirements of this contract are met. The acquisition strategy for this upcoming procurement is to compete the requirements to the maximum extent practicable, utilizing past performance and total evaluated price.� GSA PBS is issuing this RFI to seek information from current GSA Schedule 561210FAC contract holders. In order to be considered for this award, a vendor will be required to have the Special Item Numbers (SINs) listed below, awarded on their Schedule 561210FAC contract, and ultimate 20-year contract expiration date of December 31, 2032. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB, or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit GSA to contract for any supply or service. Further, GSA is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. GSA will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder.
