- The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract for the various weights and sizes of lead ballast weights outlined in the attached solicitation. The NAICS Code is 331491, Nonferrous Metal (except Copper and Aluminum) Rolling, Drawing, and Extruding, with a business size standard of 750. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 2040, Marine Hardware and Hull Items. This procurement will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items procedures. Requested FOB point is Destination. Delivery location: Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Pearl Harbor, HI 96860-5033. The lead ballast weights are required to be palletized and made moisture proof by shrink wrapping with plastic to prevent oxidation. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% total small business set aside, reference solicitation number SPMYM4-21-Q-0125. A complete copy of the solicitation is included with this notice. Offers wishing to submit a quote are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and for frequently monitoring this site for any amendments.
