Description
140R3021Q0085 Governor Oil Pump Rehab and Maintenance- BPA This solicitation is being advertised as a noncompetitive sole source solicitation. As provided under FAR 13.103-1(b)(1), this project will be solicited on a noncompetitive basis because there is only one responsible source capable satisfying the agencys requirement. The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Basin, Parker Dam has a requirement for annual (to occur over the next five years) overhaul, inspection, and repair of ten 30 Horsepower Woodward XX Herringbone Gear Type Oil Pumps and Motor Assemblies. Two Pumps and Motor Assemblies to be overhauled each year. Reclamation intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) type contract to American Governor Company. American Governor is the original manufacturer of the 30 HP Woodward XX Herringbone Gear Type Oil pump and Motor Assemblies currently in service. They have more than 30 years of experience overhauling Governor Oil Pumps. To date American Governor is the leading company in the overhaul of the 30 HP Woodward XX Herringbone Gear Type Oil pump. They have successfully overhauled over 250 pumps, which is more than any other company in the world. In addition, American Governors experience is crucial to keeping Parker Dams Governor Oil pumps up and running, which results in Parker Dam being able to fulfill its primary mission of providing water to neighboring states. The NAICS for this action is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, which has a small business size standard of $8 million dollars. Award is anticipated in September 2021. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreement 5-year contract. The contract award information will be posted on SAM.gov Contract Opportunities website at SAM.gov | Home. Questions may be submitted to Larissa Bell (702)293-8528 or email to LrBell@usbr.gov
