***UPDATE*** This update is to address and answer questions that have been asked by prospective vendors in response to the solicitation. Please see below for details: 1.�What virtual objects do you want to interact with the gaze system?�Exact replicas of the operational environment. 2.�Do you want an in-person system operator? No. 3.�Are you able to clarify what � Custom 3D scanning/modeling of existing environments as an add-on service.� means and what is the requirement? Is this something that is a deliverable or an identified capability for future purchase? This is in the listed statement of work and without knowing what the requirement (or actual work this line item represents) is (to provide what quantity of what environments: particular entry ways, specific inside intersections, entire floors, entire building interiors, etc) no one else can provide an accurate quote. The requiring�activity is looking for a positive response on the capability to provide this requirement. It is being identified for future purchase. ***End of Update*** 87 SFS VR Use of Force Training Simulator 1. General The 87 SFS mission is to protect personnel, property, and resources for Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. This Statement of Work (SOW) addresses the need to procure a Virtual Reality (VR) Use of Force Training Simulator that has the ability to re-create hyper-realistic simulated scenarios of buildings that Defender's do not typically have access to train in (hospitals, schools, Child Development Centers, etc.). 2. Scope of Work The vendor will be required to deliver and install the equipment in person, and provide a one-time training on usage of system at 87 SFS, Bldg 2301. 87 SFS will take possession of the equipment once it is delivered and installed, and training completed. Equipment MUST be TAA compliant and non refurbished. Please see Performance Work Statement in solicitation for more details.
