Description

Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i), the Department of the Navy (DON), on behalf of the Navy Drug Laboratory located at Jacksonville, FL, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Nexair, 2312 W. Beaver St, Jacksonville, FL, 32209, for delivery of compressed six-pack ultra-high pure helium and nitrogen gas cylinders.� This agreement is for one base year.� Nexair is the sole provider within the Jacksonville, FL vicinity capable of providing the requested products/service identified on the Statement of Work Statement and Justification and Approval. This notice will be distributed solely through the SAM.gov website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the SAM.gov website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325120. Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined the Navy Medicine East requirement can only be provided by Nexair. as they are the sole provider for the comprehensive package. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 20�September 2021 at 3pm EST by email to Dene Slater, Contracting Officer, at dene.l.slater.civ@mail.mil. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
