Notice of Intent to Sole Source THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Reference#: N002521N0097. Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract under the authority of FAR 19.1406(a) Sole source awards to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns and 6.302-5(b)(6), Sole source awards under the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 to: Bluehouse Partners LLC 4931 Market ST San Diego, California 92102-4731 United States The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811310; the business size standard is $8,000,000. The objective of this service-disabled veteran-owned sole source award is to procure service and maintenance and system support on Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and Module Interface used to distribute supplies, medications and other hospital materials.� Onsite maintenance for 18 AGVs, 40 guide path panels, floor zone and elevator panels, warning lights, 76 large storage module interface carts, 6 battery opportunity chargers, floor mass detector, 2 video monitors, 31 Surveillance cameras and the vehicle system manager. Service maintenance to be performed in accordance with the statement of work Bluehouse Partners LLC is the only service-disabled veteran-owned small business that can meet the governments need under this procurement authority. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work and are able to provide valid certification to provide service under authority of FAR 19.1406(a) and 6.302-5(b)(6). Capability statements shall not exceed 6 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point.� All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source purchase order.
