- Description
- The Government is seeking a SDVOSB, with previous experience supporting an intern program and/or conducted trainings specifically for first year contract professionals.� Contractor will need to be prepared to begin prior to 30 Sep 2021.� The Government is seeking a contractor that has capability for the following: Contractor has an established training program developed specifically for one year contracting professionals.� The training program and/or set of trainings should be designed for the entry level government contracting professional seeking accelerated exposure to operational contracting knowledge and skills.� Training would need to be conducted virtually using MS Teams, Zoom, and or Adobe Connect.� Trainings may also act as a refresher course for contracting professionals with over three years of experience.� Trainings should be on subjects to expand the knowledge of training classes from Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and can be tailored to the Washington Headquarters, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD) policies and procedures. Ability to assist the Government in the development of a formal curriculum for WHS AD intern program. Ability to provide facilitation services to assist in the facilitation of meetings to enhance training opportunities for all professional levels within in WHS AD.� The contractor shall provide facilitation services to assist in developing meeting agendas, recommend topics, panelists, guest speakers, and/or assist in coordinating topics.� Meetings are expected to enhance learning of all professional levels within WHS to include but not limited to:� SES round tables, offsite leadership meetings, WHS events, reverse industry days, orientations, deep dives, and workshops. Ability to provide training to assist employees to enhance their ability to coach and train employees in support of the intern program.� The contractor shall plan trainings to help employees explore coaching and learning techniques that will enhance their ability to train employees.� The contractor may also provide leadership development techniques for more senior level contract professionals.
