- Sealed Bids - For Sale � Pine Saw Timber, Pine Pulpwood, Hardwood Saw Timber, and Hardwood Pulpwood trees: Harvesting of selected Pine trees as specified in the Special Conditions of Sale. �The sale consists of approximately the following: 1) 1,920 Pine Saw Timber trees containing 551,571 board feet Doyle Scale; 2) 329 Pine Pulpwood trees containing 55 tons; 3) 36 Hardwood Saw Timber trees containing 3,294 board feet Doyle Scale; and 4) 877 Hardwood Pulpwood trees containing 208 tons. �The timber to be harvested is located on approximately 43 acres in Forest Unit 27 (please see attached map), Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana as indicated on Timber Sale Map 22-1 Exhibit A.� A 10% bid deposit will be required with the submitted solicitation package. �Bids are due by 10:00 AM (CST) on 29 September 2021 and bids submitted after this time will not be accepted.� The Contract Administrator will open accepted bids at 11:00 AM (CST) 29 September 2021 in the 2d Contracting Squadron conference room on. This agency will consider a bid from all responsible sources that are submitted by the stated deadline. �Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available; interested parties will have to download the solicitation package. �Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 11331O with size standard 500 people. In order to be awarded a contract with the federal government, vendors must be registered at www.sam.gov {(FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM) - it takes 4 - 10 days to get registered)}.
