- AWARD NOTICE Solicitation 36C25221B0028 Contract 36C25221C0116 Project: 578-21-027 USP 800 Compliance - Exhaust Rooms Building 200 Location: Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital 5000 S. 5th Avenue Hines, IL 60141 This construction project involves installation of a dedicated exhaust system for the pharmacy compounding room, and perform HVAC air balancing procedures for Rooms 969, 970, and 970A in Building 200. The goal of this project is to upgrade the current pharmacy HVAC system to comply with USP 800 requirements. This project will achieve this goal by installing new fans, ductwork, controls, and associated equipment. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation was set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the CO that it is a (1) SDVOSB or VOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB/VOSB listed as verified in VIP database at: https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov.
