- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a non-competitive contract to Vista Clara, Inc, located in Mukilteo, Washington. The purpose is for a Surface Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (sNMR) system, a field-scale, outdoor geophysical tool used to measure the water content of the earth down to depths of about 70 or more meters. This requirement is in support of the USGS Earth System Processes Division. Vista Clara must provide the required system as an SBIR Phase III award that is derived from efforts made under prior SBIR/STTR Funding Agreements; this purchase from a non-SBIR federal agency is authorized pursuant to 15 USC 638(r)(4). The NAICS code is 334516. The size standard is 1000 employees. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency; however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
