Page 1 of 1 This notice is for Chilled Water Repair project as the VA Lyons Campus. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $36.5 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) Chilled Water Repair GENERAL INFORMATION Title of Project: To provide a complete package to repair both the supply and return chiller lines and extend a underground vault for the Chilled water system at building 54 at the Lyons VA Medical Center, 151 Knollcroft Road Lyons, N.J. 07939 2. Scope of Work: The contractor shall Provide parts, Material, labor and supervision necessary to accomplish the services as described in the statement of work (SOW), SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED UNDER THIS SCOPE OF WORK Vendor will safely excavate around existing piping, Vendor will extend the vault by 8feet and match the width and height of the existing vault and provide watertight removable lids. Ten inches of stone will be compacted for the floor base, floor concrete floor will be eight inches thick, concrete walls will be six inches thick, lids will be eight inches thick Vendor will remove old insulation on existing piping to accommodate new piping a reinsulate when completed. New 8 mega-lug couplings and new 8 blue brute piping, ductile iron reducers, ductile iron flanged X plain spools with gaskets nuts and bolts will be used. Anchors and riser clamps, and thrust blocks will be used. Insulating all new lines Vendor will pressure test the system with the VA staff. Vendor will install new lids Vendor will backfill and compact soil, topsoil two inches rake and seed. Vendor shall clean all debris before leaving each day. Performance Period: The contractor shall complete the work required under this SOW within 30 day after receiving a NTP. Hours of work are to be between 7:00am and 4:30 pm on normal weekdays. Work on Federal Holidays is excluded from this contract. Type of Contract: Firm-Fixed-Price. B. CONTRACT AWARD MEETING TBD C. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS - Upon Completion ensure that all debris is cleaned up and removed from VA premises by contractor. D. SPECIFIC MANDATORY TASKS AND ASSOCIATED DELIVERABLES - Contractor will follow all VA, OSHA, and EPA safety policies. - All repairs will be inspected by a VA contracting Officers Representative. E. EVALUATED OPTIONAL TASKS AND ASSOCIATED DELIVERABLES [If applicable] NA SCHEDULE FOR DELIVERABLES NA G. CHANGES TO STATEMENT OF WORK Any changes to this SOW shall be authorized and approved only through written correspondence from the CO. H. REPORTING REQUIREMENTS NA I. TRAVEL [If applicable] NA J. GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES [If applicable] NA K. CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS All work shall be performed by professional craftsmen, experienced in the trade. All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable VA, EPA, and manufacturer s requirements. Finished product shall be defect free. L. CONFIDENTIALITY AND NONDISCLOSURE It is agreed that: 1. The preliminary and final deliverables, all associated working papers, and other material deemed relevant by VA which have been generated by the contractor in the performance of this task order, are the exclusive property of the U.S. Government and shall be submitted to the CO at the conclusion of the task order. 2. The CO will be the sole authorized official to release, verbally or in writing, any data, draft deliverables, final deliverables, or any other written or printed materials pertaining to this task order. No information shall be released by the contractor. Any request for information relating to this task order, presented to the contractor, shall be submitted to the CO for response. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/. The solicitation will be released on or about 09/21/2021. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions shall be in hardcopies; faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov and be registered and verified as a SDVOSB in www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
