Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 128th Mission Support Contracting Office 128 MSG/MSC intends to award a Sole Source contract to Monaco Enterprises Inc., 14820 E Sprague Ave, Spokane, Washington, 99216-2191, for Monaco D21 System Refresh, see attached Limited Sources Justification & Performance Work Statement. 128 MSG/MSC will use Ordering Procedures for Federal Supply Schedules and Other Than Full and Open Competition. The authority for limiting sources for orders placed under Federal Supply Schedules is FAR 8.405- 6(a)(1)(B), Limiting Sources, which states that contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. The proposed contract action is Sole Source only. In accordance with FAR 8.405, the required justification documentation is attached. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 1:00 PM C.S.T, 28 September 2021. via email to dionne.holloway@us.af.mil & mark.tonkinson.2@us.af.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closed date specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
