Description

The Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA), intends to solicit and award a Task Order to Data Security, Inc., located at 300 South 7th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement. The EOUSA anticipates award of a Task Order, on a sole source basis, to Data Security, Inc. for DX-8 Disk Drive Destruction Device. The EOUSA will purchase 1 DX-8 Disk Drive Destruction Device from Data Security, INC.� This initial purchase will include 1-year warranty consisting of parts, labor and on-site maintenance.� Data Security, Inc. shall furnish parts and labor, shipping and on-site service, where available. If on-site service is not appropriate, Data Security, Inc. shall swap the equipment with a replacement at no additional charge to the customer. After the initial period, warranties can be extended in 1-year increments. The period of performance is anticipated to be for one (1) year beginning September 30, 2021 through September 29, 2022. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations.� A Request for Quote will not be available for this requirement.� The intent of this solicitation is for informational purposes only.� However, any information received within five days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government.� Information in response to this notice may be sent to Maynard Minor, Contracting Officer at Maynard.Minor@usdoj.gov� A determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Telephonic questions or requests are strongly discouraged.
