- Description
- Keesler Bx drive-thru pharmacy currently has two lanes to service approximately 400-600 vehicles daily, Monday-Friday. The pharmacy drive-thru requires two operable lanes at all times to service patients the require access to either picking-up prescriptions or dropping off written prescriptions. The second lane must have an operational system to deliver prescriptions to the patient using a reliable course of delivery. The current system has incurred many rusting and malfunctioning issues as the mechanics of the system are stored outside in the heat and humidity. The audio visual is critically important to discuss prescription information with the patient as well has to converse with the patient as they provide the pharmacy with vital patient information. Vendor will supply a trax drive-thru system to enable delivery of pharmaceuticals via the second drive-thru lane. A regular pneumatic tube system will not work due to the size and weight of the pharmaceuticals. System must be able to adjust to different heights to service all recreational vehicles. Second drive-thru lane must have adjustable camera for clear visual of patient in vehicle. First drive-thru lane must encompass a drawer that extends to allow the pharmacy access to deliver medications to the patients vehicles. Motor/mechanics of system must be housed indoors. Vendor will remove the existing drive-thru equipment and dispose of all waste materials. The structure must remain and can not be altered. Pharmacy security guidelines must be maintained to avoid any breaches in structure. If bollards are removed to enable system, they must be replaced. Please see the attached salient characterisitics and if you are a capable vendor, please contact the listed POC's. This is a sources sought where we are surveying the market for available sources.
