Suite 300 Brentwood, TN 37027 ACDIS will provide Clinical Documentation Improvement Training (CDI) for the Kansas City VAMC Hospital and CBOC facilities within Kansas and Missouri. Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) is a process where the health record is manually reviewed either concurrently or retrospectively for ambiguous, conflicting, incomplete, or nonspecific provider documentation. A Clinical Documentation Improvement Program requires specialized training to review health records for completeness and appropriate documentation. Training should include the ongoing access for a period of one year. This will be required to allow staff the ability to take the online CDI training curriculum on their own time and whenever new staff are hired at the facilities. The training being provided is a continuation of training that was already provided. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the necessary in-person training was not able to be completed. The NAICS code is 541611 with a size standard of $16.5 Million. The solicitation number is 36C25521Q0576. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of twelve (12) month. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT October 1, 2021 at 3:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement, Notice of Intent. If after October 1, 2021 no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with ACDIS. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
