- Intent to Sole Source The West Haven Veterans Affairs Medical Center, West Haven, CT intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for the Ronin Headlight System to SDVOSB Distributor of Ronin Surgical Corp, VetRun LLC. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any vendor that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 24 SEP 2021 4:00pm (EST). Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist via e-mail at Sarah.Otis@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Network Contracting Office 1 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with VetRun LLC as noted herein. Costs associated with the preparation and submission of information and/or any follow-up information requests are the responsibility of the vendor and these costs will not be reimbursed by the Government. Verbal and telephonic inquiries will not be accepted. Intent to Sole Source to VetRun LLC. for the West Haven VAMC Statement of Work Objective This document highlights the technical specifications and services being requested by the Connecticut VAMC for consideration towards the Equipment purchase with Ronin Surgical X5 Luminaire Headset offerors under this proposal shall provide all equipment, accessories, applicable training, and manuals. Project Management / Equipment Implementation Product delivery will be the responsibility of the Vendors working with the Connecticut VAMC project management POC, the Vendor will be responsible for coordinating and performing the delivery, implementation, and training for the devices. Background/Justifications VA Connecticut will purchase additional Surgical Headlight System. The surgical headlights are used for focused high intensity beam, which is lightweight and helps eliminate shadows in the operating room. The X5 can harness over 4 times the LED power of the next leading competitor, delivering more than 350,000 lux over an adjustable 5 to 1.75-inch spot diameter. Evolution is everything... the X5's next generation LED operates at 50% higher performance than previous technologies allowing you to operate longer at max power. The X5 has adjustable brightness levels from 1 to 10, allowing you to dial in the intensity depending on your needs. The CARDIOHELP System is the world s smallest portable heart-lung support system designed to treat and to transport patients needing extended respiratory and/or circulatory support. It is ideal for use in intensive care units, cardiac catheter laboratories, operating rooms and emergency rooms. Having additional lights will provide the surgeon adequate inventory to meet the surgical needs and demands. Equipment Specifications System Equipment Set-up monitors or modules [If applicable] Software for Integration and Connectivity to Network (if applicable and desired) Other (2) User Manuals (2) Service Manuals (2) Reprocessing Manuals [If applicable] Information on disposable procurement Services Training Installation [If applicable] Training Provided / Training Materials Vendor will be required to provide two user manuals for the Ronin X5 Surgical Headset Vendor will be required to provide two service manuals for the Ronin X5 Surgical Headset Vendor will be required to provide an on-station in-service on the proper use and setup of the Ronin X5 Surgical Headset Vendor will be required to provide the cleaning methods/guidelines for Ronin X5 Surgical Headset and other accessories. All employees who will be utilizing Ronin X5 Surgical Headset, including Physicians/Surgeons, Technicians, Bio-Clinical Engineering, and Clinic staff members (""Trainees""), must be trained by an authorized representative from Ronin Surgical Corp., Surgical Health System, prior to using the System. No charge on a mutually agreeable date and time.
